Anyhow, this is Rob de Nijs' version and Rob is my favorite singer in the whole wide world. I've been a fan of him since 1972 (I'm from 1967) and he and his music are a red thread in my life. Usually he only sings in Dutch and there are very few English songs of him to be found.
The show this song was on, (translated) "Holland's best singer", aired last night and I listened to it breathlessly, remembering K/S somehow, even if Kevin's singing in 2.12 was a complete failure (much to my sadness).
Rob de Nijs turned 70 years old last 26 Dec.
