Soooooooo.....

Yesterday it was 24 years ago since my hubby and I shared our first kiss... I had forgotten all about that until today. I guess that says something. I usually remember it better.

30 more days until the hubby and Iris go on holiday. I'll have the house to myself for 3 weeks! I'm looking forward to that. I have some books to read, some things to do and I want to write.

Looking for job. It's not easy and I'm wondering if perhaps, rather than go for the same old, same old, I should try for something new. I like to drive and I wouldn't working for something like DHL or something. :) But then, a day later, I think I'd rather stick to bookkeeping. I guess wherever I get a job first wins.

333 days until my 50th. I like round numbers. :)

Meanwhile, the hubby is out of work, but doesn't have much time. His sister is claiming some of his time and that's alright with me.

The weather just sucks. Cloudy, always this threat of rain, that either doesn't fall or falls by the bucket-load. I'm very frustrated that I haven't been able to get myself organized this week. Wanted to go swimming, but lacked the energy. Wanted to stick to my diet, but there was too much left-over from the barbecue we had last weekend with some of Iris's friends. The hubby bought quite a few things that weren't put on the table once the guests were there. I should have done the shopping myself, I guess. :)

Ever since seeing the musical Grease, performed by the theater-group Iris has joined, I'm back to loving that music. She had to play Blanche (the secretary of the school) and she was background singer. She looked SOOOOOOOO cute in petty-coat. :) Next year they'll do "Mama Mia". I'm looking forward to that.

The song that drove me nuts because Iris sang the Dutch version and had to practice the words a million times... and I had to listen at least 30.000 times:
