Lost this last week: 1.2 kg
Since my new start on 15 August:
Lost: 2.0 kg
Which means 43.0 kg to go before 25 June 2013
Alright, silly me, but I have a bit of mixed feelings here. I'm happy that it is 1.2 kg, but I had wanted it to be more. (Greedy little me) I may be imagining this, but it feels as if certain parts of my body (thighs, belly in particular) seem to shrink, my arms seem to get more shape, but I don't see it on the scale.
I also know that it's natural. I'm not on a 'shock'-diet, but altering my way of eating and because of that I lose weight slowly and steadily and my body will therefore adjust at a slow pace, and it's normal to lose weight, stand still while your body 'catches up' and then lose weight again. I know of all that.
I also have to remember that because of my swimming the fat may go, but the muscles grow, so maybe that also accounts for the idea of shrinking on one hand (certainly for the better contours of my arms) but remaining stable on the scale....
I also keep in mind that I've lost 11 kg since the start of this year. Still... I would have liked to see less kg on the scale... It would give me a bit of a moral boost. I know I'm on the right path, but ... Just a little less kg on the scale?
