Thank you so much for writing this! I have been quiet lately, trying to take all the plot changes...or AKA - Lack of writers imagination......*sigh. I really do not understand why Scotty, a character who is written as a mature, logical thinking grown up makes the decision to cheat cos he was feeling a bit lonely. Now I am not saying that Kevin has not made bad choices but how does that condone cheating? While I haven't seen Resolved, I have heard plenty about it and am a little bit intrigued at how "Resolved" it can be after a mere few weeks?
Much in the same vain as Robert's 'get a filter' it's writers...'get a new plot device!' If the intent was to show fractures around the relationship and that Scotty was not perfect and Kevin was self obsessed (which the 'character' of the family is the most self absorbed character on the show) then there are surely other more creative and original ways to do that. Yes I like that they have portrayed the fault on both sides and Scotty's infidelity is a symptom....almost dare I say it....his innoncence and perfection is a casualty or Kevin's self obsession? It does take two people...at least Kevin did'nt go out and pick up too!
Anyway...I digress....quite a lot...I loved this story and see it as a much more believable offering to the reaction of the betrayal. Thanks so much for writing it! :D You inspire me!
