 I look forward to getting back to swimming, but I have an appointment today. Shoot! I hope that I can go tomorrow. I miss it. I've done quite some swimming during the holidays, but I can't when my husband is around.

He feels that if you pay for the pool, that you stay there to the max. But honestly? One hour in there, and I've seen it. I never feel the need to spend more time there. I swim my laps and that's it for me.

 Well, I guess I'm blessed today: It's only 9 am and I already have 3 things that made me smile. :)

1. Work started again for my husband, so I feel like I'm getting back in my own rhythm, which was lost these last 6 weeks.

2. School has started again and  Iris is thrilled. She's the oldest in her class now and couldn't WAIT to get school. And no, Mom, you don't have to come along, because your daughter is old enough (nearly 10)  to go alone.... Alright this also makes me a little sad, but it also makes me smile.

3. The weather is beautiful. I'm in a good mood and have a lot of plans for this week! Oh, and I need to finish my fanfic.... I'm at chapter 18 and, seriously, they need to find the killer!
